Fish Hoek-Kommetjie-Noordhoek Welfare Association
The Fish Hoek-Kommetjie-Noordhoek Welfare Association (FHKNWA) is a Non-Profit and Public Benefit Organisation with Section 18A status that operates in the Simon’s Town Magisterial District of the City of Cape Town, South Western Cape Region in Southern Africa. This area is situated in the Southern Cape Peninsula and is right at the tip of the continent of Africa.

The Association’s focus is on working with children and families facing the adversities of living with a family member with special needs. Sinethemba Special Care Centre, main project of FHKNWA, is a day care centre in Masiphumelele, an informal settlement between Fish Hoek and Kommetjie. Sinethemba provides care for children with severe and profound special needs.


Sinethemba Special Care Centre and the Association offer:
