Community Development
The Association also employs a Community Development Worker that is based in Ocean View and a Social Auxiliary Worker that is based at Sinethemba in Masiphumelele.
They focus on offering a service to people, families and individuals that have special needs living in these communities.
This service entails the following: offering counseling, Advocacy, Assistance with grant application for people and also coordinating the Adult and Youth group with special needs. The Association does not undertake any statutory work and will refer such cases to local statutory agencies and offer the necessary support where necessary.
